Quaker Sugar Co. in Brooklyn prints this guy on the back of their pepper packets and hopefully on the sugar packets, too. Day is made.

Now let’s fix this place.

Shame on you if you haven’t. You can keep track of the results either way thanks to The New York Times’ little election ‘dashboard’ thing.

Picked up this book over the weekend called Bill Daniel’s Mostly True. Apparently it’s a companion book of sorts to a documentary this Daniel’s guy filmed not too long ago. “Mostly true” stories about hobo culture from the days of yore. Hitching rides on box cars, running from the “bulls”, and leaving your trademark in chalk on as many trains as you felt like was the name of the game. Simpler times. Trademark™ Approved.
